I found the puzzles challenging and at times frustrating so it was satisfying to tackle them and finally complete particular areas. I didn't experience the bug with getting stuck in scenery but my game did crash and close on the ending cinematic which was really annoying considering the time I'd spent completing the story. I'd like to go back and complete the achivements and puzzles I've missed, hopefully the devs will work on the issues.At the time of writing this the game is on sale for just £1.09 (90% off) which it is well worth the price if you're patient with it's faults and enjoy walking simulators. I would not recommend paying full price for this game.Final note: The game focuses on the stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance), if you're looking for a game of this sort that has less bugs and much more polished I highly recommend RiME. tl;dr Recommended? Yes but only if it's on sale for less than $5.. I liked this game, even though it was short. Most of the puzzles were on the easier side, but a few (optional) were quite frustrating, because it was very difficult to figure the mechanics of it. It was a trial and error and thing. Also, I got stuck in a few places, especially when the companion was blocking my path and couldn't move him away. Overall, the game was enjoyable from the beginning till the end.. The most beautiful game I have ever seen. 420/10 play this baked!. Awsome game with wonderful environment!I was waiting for it since it was released for XBOX and I have been not disappointed at all; tricky puzzles, marvelous effects and a really touching story. A must for its genre!. I'm gonna be incredibly biased if I try to actually review this, sooooits a good game, it is also a walking simif you dont like walking sims don't play. No. I really wanted to give this game a chance. It's pretty and all. Nice soundtrack. But after gettin' stuck on every little rock and randomly getting slowed down knowing that the running speed feels like your character is slowly stumbling everywhere drunk, I can't. The last straw was the accuracy of throwing the magic balls. No way to tell if you've "charged" it or how fast the next throw will be. Sometimes it goes quite fast in a straight line, sometimes it's a sissy throw with a huge curve and there's no way to tell the difference. It also happened WAY too often that I would do a perfect throw and the pillar would just not register. For the puzzle with that crying statue where you have to stand on a platform to keep the eye of the statue open (so that you can hit the pillar inside said eye with a ball), it felt like an invisible wall was separating me and the damn pillar. I dunno if it was a bug or what. My levels of frustration have rarely been that high.Edit: apparently the throws are inaccurate as all hell because of an unstable frame rate and no way to change that in settings. GG. I had to get Nvidia Inspector just to fix this issue. Ridiculous. TL;DR: Broken magic balls throwing mechanic due to a lack of option to limit the FPS, can't solve a puzzle because of it. ♥♥♥♥ this.. Besides being bogged down by its slow, clunky control scheme, its unengaging gameplay and its flashy but lifeless visuals, N.E.R.O. handles its story with a few too many clichés, resulting in the passion that was obviously poured into it not quite paying off. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this game to fans of puzzle games or fans of "walking simulators," since it succeeds in neither genre. Though its story is worth telling, this is not the way it deserved to be told.. Overall, pretty and pretty depressing.Walking sim, collecting the picture pieces is too much of a chore for the achievement because it's too dark with low contrast so exploring is tedious, the environment too samey. The voice acting is good but the script is poor. The puzzles are a chore, you can walk past many of them and I most certainly did.I hate to beat on an indie game that's clearly had some effort put in but it's a relief to finish the game rather than feeling like any kind of accomplishment.. Mind=blown. Play it. Now.. Beautifull short walking simulator with a few puzzles which are mostly easy.
